A newly-released behind-the-scenes video provides fans of The Flash with what seems to be the first looks at the official costumes for Vibe and Killer Frost.
They're both pretty comics-accurate, bringing the quilted look of the post-Flashpoint Vibe costume and a TV-friendly approximation of one of Killer Frost's more distinctive looks to the small screen.
You can see the video, in which The Flash costume designer Maya Mani talks about her process, below.
Neither costume is directly addressed, with Mani focusing most of her attention on the costumes for The Flash, Kid Flash, and The Rival -- but in the final moments of the video, you can finally get a brief glimpse of the costumes in close-up, while Mani teases that there's a lot of supehero goodness to come this season.
There have, of course, been versions of the Vibe and Killer Frost costumes already in play. We saw evil, Earth-2 counterparts to both characters, and it's arguably not all that surprising that the primary versions of those characters aren't just going to borrow the looks from versions of themselves who did awful things.
The logo on the Killer Frost belt looks a lot like the one worn on her chest in Batman: Assault on Arkham, the Suicide Squad-heavy animated movie in which she was prominently featured.
The Flash airs on Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW -- although the next episode won't air until next week, since this week they're taking a skip week while the United States determines its next President.
