In spite of the fact that Stephen Amell is currently the Green Arrow on television and word is there are no plans to bring the character into DC's film universe anytime soon, a small, vocal contingent of fans continue to want to see Charlie Hunnam suit up.
The basic idea seems to be simply that the Pacific Rim and Sons of Anarchy star looks like Green Arrow, so he ought to be Green Arrow.
And while that seems really pretty unlikely to happen onscreen, friend of the site BossLogic has put together a pretty great piece of fan art that shows what it might look like if it were to happen.

Amell's Arrow will go back in front of the cameras in July with an eye toward an October premiere on Wednesday nights at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.
Meanwhile, the Justice League -- composed of Henry Cavill's Superman, Ben Affleck's Batman, Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman, Ray Fisher's Cyborg, Ezra Miller's Flash, and Jason Momoa's Aquaman, are currently filming their first, Green Arrow-less, feature film now.
In the comics, Oliver Queen's relationship with Dinah "Black Canary" Lance is being re-established, and while she's dead on the TV series, it's been speculated that Dinah could appear in the rumored Harley Quinn-centric superheroine team-up movie coming from Warner Bros. and DC if Suicide Squad is the hit they expect it to be.
