Zack Snyder’s Man of Steel was a divisive film for DC Comics and Superman fans – which has, ironically, cemented it in place as a milestone moment in DC Comics movies (for better or worse).

In fact, Man of Steel trivia and behind-the-scenes looks remain as popular as debate over the film itself: case in point: today we have a new image of Superman actor Henry Cavill doing his original costume test for the film – though probably not the costume you’re expecting.
As you can see in the photo below Snyder shared an image on his Vero account of Cavill’s Clark Kent in the fisherman garb from the crab boat job we see him working in the beginning of the film. It’s not all that interesting on its own – certainly not as interesting as seeing Cavill do the actual Superman costume test.

Cavill’s Superman will next be seen in Justice League, which hits theaters on November 17, 2107.
