This year, the Pokemon with You train is getting a special Pikachu-themed makeover. When the train begins its run in July, both the exterior and interior will be covered entirely in Pikachu. The train’s new paint job is meant to mimic Pikachu, with rosy-red cheeks, brown back stripes and even a jagged yellow tail.

The train will also get an interior makeover, with every seat cover featuring an outline of the famous Electric-Type Pokemon as more Pikachu run up and down the side of the train. Even the carpet has been “Pika-fied” with a yellow zig-zag pattern meant to mimic Pikachu’s tail. You can check out some official promotional stills of the train in the photo gallery above.

The train will also have a special Pikachu play area, so that younger fans can work off some energy during their trip to the coast.

The train will run on select days in July, August, and September. Tickets can be reserved up to a month in advance, so fans can schedule their trip accordingly.
