This weekend, Chicago's Grant Park will host Pokemon Go Fest, the first ever Pokemon Go live event. Pokemon Go Fest will have a ton of different activities and perks for Pokemon Go fans, but the central event will revolve around three "Challenge Windows." However, Pokemon Go has quietly changed the times of one of the Challenge Windows without any announcement or warning.

Originally, the three half hour long windows were due to start at 11 AM, 12 PM, and 3 PM CT. However, infographics released on Pokemon Go Fest's website state that the Challenge Windows start at 11 AM, 1 PM, and 3 PM.

When the time change was pointed out on Reddit, a Niantic employee stated that the Challenge Window was always at 1 PM, but the original infographic for the event listed the incorrect time.

The Challenge Windows are meant to be a global event. While players at Pokemon Go Fest will try to catch specific rewards for special bonuses during the window, players outside the event are encouraged to catch as many Pokemon as they can. If players around the world catch enough Pokemon during the three Challenge Windows, they'll unlock the first ever Legendary Pokemon Raid at Pokemon Go Fest. Once that raid is defeated, Legendary Pokemon Raids will be unlocked for all players around the world.

Pokemon Go Fest will take place on Saturday, July 22. Be sure to check to see what time the Challenge Windows start in your time zone and be prepared to catch all the Pokemon!
