It was just a little while back that THQ Nordic revealed the return of the Darksiders franchise, with Gunfire Games hard at work on the third chapter of the series, Darksiders III – one that features a new heroine in the form of the whip-snapping Fury.

This week, IGN unveiled some new concept art for the game, showing off not only its massive scope in terms of level detail, but also a glimpse at some of the enemies that Fury will come across over the course of her adventure. It looks like the team at Gunfire is on the right track when it comes to capturing the pure ambience of the series, right down to its spooky motif.
Darksiders III will release next year for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
