While many players are still working on improving their skills and waiting for new content in Injustice 2, players who enjoyed the 2013 game Injustice: Gods Among Us will be happy to hear that the older game reportedly be featured in arcades soon.

As first reported by Arcade Heroes, an arcade version of the game Injustice: Gods Among Us has been spotted out in the open. A user tipped them off that the game from NetherRealm Studios and Warner Bros. had been seen at a test location, and after the game’s presence was confirmed by arcade game company Raw Thrills, some details were provided about how the console game would be ported to an arcade version

As seen in the tweet above, the arcade version of Injustice: Gods Among Us doesn’t have a joystick control component, so playing the arcade version will likely be different from playing a traditional fighting game. The buttons included in the test version were Quick Attack, Block, Strong Attack, and Special Attack, and from the way that the game was described by the source of the tweet, it seemed to play similarly to Marvel Vs. Capcom.

The use of a card data system is also present in this arcade format of the game, cards that can be acquired from the game itself through a card dispenser by purchasing the card. Two card readers are also on the control panel that players can use to scan their collected cards. By scanning the barcodes on the cards, players can build their team with each player able to scan up to three cards to round out their three heroes with 49 possible cards to collect.

While still in the testing phase, the Raw Thrills source who spoke to Arcade Heroes confirmed that the game has been doing extremely well so far. More information on the arcade version of Injustice: Gods Among Us will be reported as it is revealed.
