Considering all the buzz surrounding the Kingdom Hearts franchise right now – even though the third game is well off into the future for release – it shouldn’t be a surprise that we’re getting even more toys based off the classic characters in the game series.

Diamond Select Toys has announced a line of Kingdom Hearts Vinimates figures to commemorate the 15th anniversary of the series, featuring four of its iconic characters – Sora, Donald, Mickey and Goofy. Each figure stands up to four inches tall, and has an adorable, albeit slightly compressed look that fans will certainly enjoy. The figures are set to sell for $10 each, and you can get a look at all the characters in the attached gallery.

These are a bit on the larger side when it comes to figurines from Diamond Select Toys, as their usual variety of Minimates stand at two inches apiece. Perhaps they felt that Kingdom Hearts was more fitting for something a bit on the larger side, even though four inches is still suitable enough for fans to set the toys aside one another on a shelf.

Diamond Select Toys has been known to dabble with other franchises in the past with its line of both Vinimates and Minimates figures, including the likes of The Walking Dead, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and a variety of Marvel licenses. So Kingdom Hearts should fit right in when it comes to pleasing fans and staying loyal to its certain brand. It doesn’t hurt that Diamond Select Toys has also covered video game franchises in the past, like Street Fighter, Darkstalkers and Tekken.

The figures haven’t been given an exact release date yet, but Diamond Select Toys expects to release them sometime this fall. As far as if we’ll be seeing them before, the company hasn’t said, but Disney D23 Expo is coming up this weekend, with new Kingdom Hearts info in tow; and San Diego Comic-Con is taking place next week, where companies are expected to be selling quite a few exclusive wares on the show floor. We’ll see what happens.

Kingdom Hearts III doesn’t have a release date, but is expected for Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
