League of Legends has a seemingly endless supply of cosmetics to change up the looks of almost 140 champions, but some of those champs get way more skins than others.

Plenty of League’s champs get criticized for receiving skin after skin while others wait years for a new look, but with how many skins there are, it’d take some digging in order to back up your complaints about Ahri or Master Yi receiving yet another skin over “X” champ. However, one League player has taken the plunge and crunched the numbers to find out which champions get the most love when it comes to their skins.
Some of the stats that were taken from the data are somewhat expected, but others might surprise players who think they have a pretty good idea of which champions receive the most and the least skins.
Champions That Receive Skins Most Frequently
As mentioned previously, Ahri shows up quite a bit in skin discussions with it seeming like the champ gets skins quicker than anyone, but the data compiled by Redditor and League player Human-Infinity indicates that that assumption isn’t accurate.
In the massive spreadsheet created by Human-Infinity, one of the ways that the data is broken down is the frequency of which champions receive skins. It turns out that Ahri actually doesn’t even make it into the top three spots, pushed out by several other champs:
- Jhin (1.82)
- Ekko (1.72)
- Miss Fortune (1.42)
- Ahri (1.38)
- Renekton (1.35)
It’s worth noting that Jhin’s skin frequency is inflated a bit with his recent SKT skin from Worlds, but he still had enough skins since his release to help push him into the No. 1 spot for the champion who gets skins the quickest.
Champions That Receive Skins Least Frequently
Opposite of which champions get skins the fastest, the data also represented which of them have the lowest frequency when it comes to receiving skins, these results likely a bit more predictable.
Topping the charts is Yorick, the solemn splitpusher who’s skin frequency was practically flatlining if not for the Arclight Yorick skin that’s currently on the PBE. That skin wasn’t taken into account in the data since it’s not out yet, so the low-frequency champions are as follows:
- Yorick (0.32)
- Urgot (0.42)
- Swain (0.43)
- Rumble (0.47)
- Evelynn (0.48)
Once Yorick gets his skin, however, he’ll move from the top spot to No. 6 behind Evelynn. Urgot will then be on top, but that could easily be solved with a certain starry skin.
Champions With the Most Skins
But several champions that have been in the game for a while now have been rewarded for their veteran status by having the most skins in the game so far, though the quality of some of them may be up for debate given their age.
Below are the champions that have the most skins in the game, all of them with a whopping 10 skins each:
- Annie
- Ryze
- Twisted Fate
- Alistar
- Ezreal
- Miss Fortune
However, the quality of the skins is reflected by the price, and two of the champions, Alistar and Ryze, don’t have any skins that cost upwards of 975 RP.
You can check out the full spreadsheet for yourself to catch even more interesting facts about champions’ skins so that you can be better prepared next time a “this champion needs a skin” argument breaks out in-game.
Champions Who’ve Gone the Longest Without a Skin
Similar to the champions that haven’t received many skins since their release, some of those same champions have also gone quite a long time without receiving a new skin. Yorickย mains definitely don’t have to be reminded of how long it’s been since they got a new skin โ something that’ll change with Arclightย Yorick, of course โ but some of the other stats for champions that have gone a long time without skins might be a bit more surprising.
Below is the list of champions in order who have taken the longest to get a new skin:
Yorick* (2286 days)
Urgot (2029 days)
Swain (1950 days)
Shen (1584 days)
Viktor (1454 days)
After Yorickย receives his skin, the new fifth-place champion will be Rumble. Yorick’sย definitely in need of his upcoming skin though seeing how those days without a skin lead all the way back to his release 6 years ago.
