The third year of content for Rainbow Six Siege is about to begin soon, but players can now purchase the season pass for the new year's content to guarantee access to everything Ubisoft has planned.

Following a trend of previous years, Year 3 will consist of four different seasons with different Operators and other content rolling out over the course of the year. The first season, however, will look a bit different than the rest. A plan for the content was laid out recently that announced Season 1 would start with Operation Chimera and a special co-op event called Outbreak that looks like it just might have something to do with zombies. But beyond the first, the rest of the seasons will include more traditional content such as new Operators each season and maps that are either new or remade.

If you foresee yourself sticking with Rainbow Six Siege throughout Year 3 while enjoying all the new content, you can go ahead and pay for the season pass now to earn some extra rewards. The Year 3 pass costs $29.99 on its own, but purchasing it comes with some extra incentives detailed below in addition to the eight new Operators that you'll receive throughout the year. You'll also receive a VIP premium membership for one year that includes several perks:

YEAR 3 OPERATORS AND BONUS DLC

  • 8 new Year 3 operators
  • 8 exclusive headgear and uniforms
  • R6 Meteorite Charm
  • 600 R6 Credits

VIP PERKS

  • 7-day early access to each season's new Operators.
  • 10% discount in the in-game shop**
  • 5% Renown boost
  • +0,3% Alpha Pack Boost

Buying the Year 3 pass before March 5 will also earn you the Signature Damascus Steel Skin that can be seen through the content pass announcement from Ubisoft. If you bought the second year of content through a pass, you'll also receive 600 extra credits for your continued loyalty to the game. Those who didn't buy the Year 2 pass can still do so for 2400 credits to gain access to the eight Operators that were released during the second year.
