The first video this user uploaded showcases a brand new monster; the lightning-based wyvern Tobi Kadachi. Looking at the gameplay footage, this is not an enemy to be taken lightly, the YouTuber himself struggling quite a bit with combating this newly introduced foe:

The second video teases the new weapons seen in Monster Hunter world, as well as a new armor that he managed to unlock during his time at the Capcom headquarters in Osaka. It’s interesting to see the much smaller weapons come into play, but everything looks incredibly smooth thus far, check it out:

And last but not least, the YouTuber managed a tiny interview with the creator’s of the upcoming game to talk about the title and how it compares to previous entries into the series. Producer Tyozo Tsujimoto and co-Director Yuya Tokuda even mentioned that the main storyline alone will take players over 24 hours to complete – which is insane! Challenge accepted?

Other little tid-bits of info revealed more about squads, housing, and other mechanics to be introduced, and re-introduced, within Monster Hunter World.

“As a hunter of monsters, your adventure brings you to an uncharted continent where you’ll face off with a variety of deadly predators, each more fearsome than the next. This new land and its diverse inhabitants play a critical role in each quest as you strategically use the surrounding environment including terrain, vegetation and wildlife to your advantage in battle or become hindered by the hazards they present.”

Monster Hunter World will be available on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC come January 26th, 2018.
