It turns out the titles of Avengers: Infinity War Part 1 and Part 2 are a bit misleading. Directors Joe and Anthony Russo have revealed that the films will be retitled, presumably with new names that better reflect how different the two movies are.

“The movies are two very different movies,” Joe told UPROXX.
“It is misleading,” said Anthony.
“The intention is we will change it,” Joe added, “we just haven’t come up with the titles yet. But, yes, we will change it. And, yes, that is a scoop: we will retitle them.”
Avengers: Infinity War will be the climax of the Marvel Cinematic Universe so far. It will also be the first time many of these characters have been on screen together since Captain America: Civil War. It isn’t surprising that the directors may be struggling to come up with titles that capture the magnitude of the films.
