Doctor Strange, the next installment in Marvel's Cinematic Universe, promises to bring us plenty of on-screen magic and mysticism (a first for for the MCU). While some may have had doubts as to how Marvel planned on adapting Doctor Strange from page to screen, mind-bending trailers and teasers have proven they've done a darn good job. In fact, if your brain doesn't hurt after watching entire cities fold over on top of themselves, than your eyes may have been closed, for real.

The film will feature brutal battles involving the human psyche as The Ancient One (Tilda Swinton) attempts to mentor Stephen Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) in the ways of magic after he suffers from a career-ending accident. Even Swinton has said that the film will "pull some s**t out that no one has ever seen before." Benedict Cumberbatch himself said he was stunned when he saw the footage.

For example, she gives him (or his aura) a swift shove through what appears to be glass and he ends up in a completely different place and also completely confused. Speaking of broken glass, a new kaleidoscope-style teaser for Doctor Strange was released today, reminding us that not everything has to make sense:

Oh, the words are also upside down. MIND. BLOWN.

Doctor Strange will release in theaters November 4th, 2016.
