In a photo posted to Bruce Banner actor Mark Ruffalo’s Instagram page, he and Tony Stark actor Robert Downey Jr. are seen hanging out on set of Avengers: Infinity War. The film is set to be the reunion of the characters who developed a close relationship throughout the previous two Avengers movies before Banner decided to literally jet off of Earth.

This is hardly the first union of these actors on set of Avengers: Infinity War. Just yesterday, they both posed with Doctor Strange actor Benedict Cumberbatch and his loyal pal Benedict Wong.
Both of the Science Bros actors will appear in Marvel Cinematic Universe films ahead of Avengers: Infinity War. Iron Man is set to play a considerable part in Spider-Man: Homecoming which hits theaters in July while Banner will be resurfacing in Thor: Ragnarok in November.
Since their last meeting in Avengers: Age of Ultron, both characters will have undergone serious changes by the time Infinity War rolls around. Tony Stark felt the guilt of the Avengers’ actions and his own creation of Ultron and voted to side with the government and force the team to work under their guidelines. Banner will have explored the cosmic side of the universe with Thor, encountering alien life for the first time since the Chitauri attempted to invade New York.
Needless to say, the two characters are going to have a lot to talk about.
Avengers: Infinity War is described by Marvel Studios as the culmination of everything in the Marvel Cinematic Universe since Iron Man in 2008. The movie is filming now under directors Anthony and Joe Russo, from a screenplay by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely.
The expansive confirmed cast includes Robert Downey, Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, Scarlett Johansson, Tom Holland, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bethany, Sebastian Stan, Benedict Cumberbatch, Benedict Wong, Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Karen Gillan, Vin Diesel, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper, Pom Klementieff, and Josh Brolin as the villain Thanos.
Avengers: Infinity War and its as-yet-untitled sequel are filming back-to-back for a May 4, 2018 and May 3, 2019 release, respectively.
