If you know anything about Scarlet Witch and Vision, then it is probably that the pair have a rather interesting history together. Marvel Comics has featured dozens of dramatic couples in its tenure, but there are few relationships as convoluted as the one between these Avengers. From dating to marriage, the courtship of Vision and Scarlet Witch is one fans have wondered could survive on the big screen. And, if this recent set video says anything, then the answer is yes.
Earlier this month, reports broke that Scarlet Witch and Vision were seen kissing on the set of Avengers: Infinity War. The film is currently shooting abroad in Scotland, and E! News was able to nab a photo of the characters locking lips for a shot. As time went on, video footage of the pair appeared as they filmed a romantic date sequence, but no footage could be found of the actual kiss.
That is, until now. Thanks to Hollywood Now, fans can watch from a distance as Vision puts the moves on Scarlet Witch. You can watch the video below.
If you are not familiar with the strange romance between Scarlet Witch and Vision, then you have a lot to catch up on. The pair are traditionally coupled together in the Marvel Universe, but that isn’t to say their relationship has been an easy one. In the comics, Scarlet Witch falls for Vision, but Quicksilver and Hawkeye vehemently opposed the couple. Still, the pair eventually got together and married. However, things turned south when their relationship was plagued with fighting even after they had twins. When Scarlet Witch found out her children with Vision were not real but just a conjuring from her powers, the heroine went a bit crazy. Vision could only watch as his wife went on a downward spiral, and fans were left wondering what in the world was happening.
Hopefully, no such thing happens to the couple this time around. Vision and Scarlet Witch deserve a bit of happiness before Thanos comes in to wreck it all.
Avengers: Infinity War is described by Marvel Studios as the culmination of everything in the Marvel Cinematic Universe since Iron Man in 2008. The movie is filming now under directors Anthony and Joe Russo, from a screenplay by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely.
The expansive confirmed cast includes Robert Downey, Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, Scarlett Johansson, Tom Holland, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bethany, Sebastian Stan, Benedict Cumberbatch, Benedict Wong, Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Karen Gillan, Vin Diesel, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper, Pom Klementieff, and Josh Brolin as the villain Thanos. Avengers: Infinity War and its as-yet-untitled sequel are filming back-to-back for a May 4, 2018 and May 3, 2019 release, respectively.
