If it sees that number, that would put it at the fifth largest opening of all-time, behind Avengers: Age of Ultron, The Avengers, Jurassic World, and of course Star Wars: The Force Awakens. It would also put it way above the other two Captain America films; The First Avengers had a $65 million opening, and a lifetime domestic gross of $176.7 million – yes, Civil War could actually outgross First Avenger in one weekend. The Winter Soldier had a $95 million opening.
