It’s a late Christmas present for fans of Marvel’s most murderous alien symbiote. The folks over at statue manufacturer Kotobukiya revealed their upcoming Carnage statue earlier this week as a part of their ARTFX+ line.

Slated for release in July 2017, the 1/10 scale statue stands at just over seven inches tall, a size comparable to the massively popular Marvel Legends line of figures.
The ARTFX+ Carnage isn’t the first character based in Spider-Man lore to get a statue made by Kotobukiya. Peter Parker, Miles Morales, Spider-Gwen, and Agent Venom each have their own ARTFX+ statues while Spider-Gwen also has an anime-themed statue set in the 1/7 scale. Kotobukia previously produced a 1/6 scale Maximum Carnage statue but the website currently lists it out of stock.
From the product description on Kotobukiya’s official Facebook page, “Carnage’s body is a map of inhuman muscle and textured flesh with creeping veins and tendrils, and his legs have extra joints and end in taloned feet. As the supervillain steps forward toward his prey he holds one hand back while the other reaches up into the air with massive claws and spikes growing out of the arm! Best of all, perfectly realized in 3D is Carnage’s signature open-mouthed grin with razor-sharp black teeth surrounding a fleshy maw, all underneath his creepy white eyes! The evil symbiote’s colors are nightmarish as well, with deep red flesh crisscrossed by black growths.”
For those not familiar with Carnage, the character’s alter ego is Cletus Kasady, a psychopathic serial killer who once shared a jail cell with Eddie Brock, the original host for the Venom symbiote. When Venom broke Eddie Brock out of jail, a remnant of the symbiote was left behind to bond with Kasady, kicking his psychosis up a notch and enhancing his murderous nature twofold. A natural Spider-Man villain, Carnage can also be seen going toe-to-toe with many other heroes in the Marvel universe.
With Spider-Man: Homecoming just a few months away, there has been some speculation that Michael Mando will be playing a version of the character in Peter Parker’s first solo film set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Michael Keaton has been confirmed as Vulture, the primary antagonist of the film and an original member of the Sinister Six but what do you think, Carnage fans? Do you want to see a live action version of Cletus Kasady in the Marvel Cinematic Universe?
