After Deadpool’s limited series, Deadpool And The Mercs For Money ,was well received earlier this year, Marvel has officially announced it as an ongoing series.

The book will feature the same cast, along with the same writer at the helm, Cullen Bunn. Artwise the book will be enlisting the talents of Iban Coello, as they let the team of Deadpool, Solo, Slapstick, Foolkiller, Stingray, Terror, and Masacre loose on the Marvel Universe once again.
“The fans have spoken and we’re sending these mercs on another mission,” says Marvel SVP Sales & Marketing David Gabriel. “Response to the Marvel Universe’s newest misfit super-team has been huge and we’re excited to have Cullen back to pen their ongoing exploits this July.”
The ragtag team has been hired to rid the Marvel U of every radioactive supervillain, which is no small task, especially when you have Wade Wilson as your de facto leader. Still, even if they don’t get the job done, it will be fun watching them try.
With a title like that, doesn’t it seem like WWE’s Shane McMahon would be a no-brainer fit for this team? The book could have its own theme song, and wouldn’t that benefit everyone? I think so.
Deadpool And The Mercs For Money #1 launches this July.
