Guardians Vol. 2: Top 5 Rocket Raccoon Collectibles

Marvel fans have Guardians of the Galaxy fever all over again thanks to the immensely successful Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. While there will be many leaving the theater excited to buy more Baby Groot merchandise, there will also be plenty of fans who are craving more Rocket Raccoon. If you’re looking for something to buy those fans, you’re in luck.

There are a variety of options out there for you when choosing something to buy. Clothes, hats, Cosplay gear, nerf guns, action figures, cups, plates, statues, and more all probably have something related to the hilarious raccoon, and there’s more than likely something you’ll want to add to your collection. Speaking of Rocket, while Bradley Cooper is the voice of him in the films, it’s actually James Gunn’s brother Sean Gunn that brings him to life on set. Gunn acts out the parts during filming and then his physical performance is used as the foundation for the extensive CGI. Cooper then comes in and puts the voice to the character to bring him to life. Granted, you won’t find any Sean Gunn figures here, but maybe Funko can release an exclusive Guardians POP somewhere down the line that shows a pre-CGI look at the character. It could even be a chase figure! Just saying.

Rocket Raccoon will once again be seen in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, but before that he will play a significant role along with the rest of the Guardians in Avengers: Infinity War. That will be the first time the Guardians have met the earthbound Avengers and for that matter other characters like Doctor Strange, Thor, and Black Panther. Seeing Captain America and Iron Man meet Rocket and Groot for the first time will be utterly priceless.

Rocket Raccoon Girls Hoodie

This first one is from the original Guardians of the Galaxy, but it still holds up for fans of the lovable curmudgeon. Marvel offers a Rocket Raccoon Girls hoodie that echoes the characters orange and brown costume. The hoodie on its own is great, but as an added bonus it features a full hood with furry ears.

The hoodie has a zipper closure and runs a variety of sizes. There’s also a men’s version, so the both of you can grab some nerf guns and have turf war. If you wanted to you could even enlist the help of a Groot, but you should know your house plant can’t defend himself and doesn’t dance when you’re not looking, so there will be a difference.

Rocket Raccoon Guardians Vol. 2 POP

There’s no shortage of Funko items to choose from, and that goes double when it comes to Guardians of the Galaxy items. Funko delivered one of their best POPs though in the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 series, which featured a fantastic Rocket Raccoon holding twin pistols while hovering above the ground. The cloud underneath him even features an orange tint for effect, and for any Rocket fan this is an easy purchase. If you don’t already own it, it is available now for $10.99.

Rocket Raccoon Animated Statue SDCC 2016

There’s already a certain cartoon like quality to Rocket Raccoon, and leave it to Gentle Giant LTD. to perfectly capture that in statue form. The company has been crafting animated statues based on the amazing artwork of Skottie Young for awhile now, and this is certainly one of their best in the line.
