Jon Favreau Returns to Marvel Studios as EP on Avengers: Infinity War

While Jon Favreau is no doubt celebrating the success of his latest directorial affair, The Jungle Book, which had a fantastic opening weekend, he’s also looking to the future, and his return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The actor, director, writer, producer is sitting in the last chair again for the Russo brothers’ next two films, Avengers: Infinity War parts 1 and 2.

“I’m going to be executive producing the Avengers films with the Russo brothers, which I’m very excited about,” Favreau told Digital Spy. “I talk to them about it all the time. I’ve worked both in front of and behind the camera with Marvel and I really love what they’re doing now.”

Favreau also said he’d seen Captain America: Civil War and “it’s fantastic.”
