The national treasure that is SNL’s Leslie Jones recently watched the superhero epic Captain America: Civil War for the first time and her initial reactions are just as hilarious as you’d expect.

The Ghostbusters star live tweeted her reactions to the film, similar to what she did during the Rio Olympics. It turns out the biggest impression was made by Chadwick Boseman, who debuted in the film as the Black Panther. Jones wasn’t familiar with the character beforehand, so when he dropped into battle Captain America, she was understandably shocked (via EW).
It’s easy to look at these things from a comic fan’s perspective sometimes, and in doing so certain reveals or twists don’t have the same effect as they do to someone who isn’t submerged in the source material. When Black Panther is revealed to be T’Challa, it doesn’t take her long to switch sides.
at 1st I was like “are they arresting Capt. Amer?!” Then when I saw him I was like man fuck Capt America. Cat Dude! pic.twitter.com/uDmdUdjgOD

At one point, after Winter Solider has left more than a few heroes in his wake, she makes an astute point about the hero’s real name.
Um can someone tell me why “Bucky” from Capt Amer so unstoppable and why would they name a unstoppable man “Bucky”. Please Splain!

Jones couldn’t leave without pointing out a much larger threat, one that the Avengers should take quite seriously.
Ok I don’t like all of the superheroes fighting each other. Don’t the know the whitewalkers are coming?’

It can’t be just me that wants to Jones make her way through the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe catalog right? Seeing her thoughts on movies like Iron Man 3, Ant-Man, and Thor: The Dark World would make for some entertaining nights on Twitter.
