Following the emotional moment, the Guardians gathered on their ship to pay their final respects at Yondu’s funeral. And one actor had a hard time making it through the scene, for reasons you might not have guessed.
"I have some very funny video of Chris giving his speech and crying and in the middle of that, Rooker falling asleep,” Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 director James Gunn said in a live Q&A session held on Facebook this weekend. “He didn't fall asleep once. He fell asleep 10 times.”
You read that right, Michael Rooker fell asleep during his character’s funeral nearly a dozen times. Here’s to hoping Gunn & Co. put together a quick snippet of a snoring Rooker on the movie’s gag reel.
