Michael Rooker, star of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, got into full makeup and costume, including fin and blue skin, to pay a visit to the Marvel Studios offices in Burbank, California. Take a look at the video above to see Rooker make the day of several Marvel employees.

Fans of Rooker’s Yondu should enjoy every chance they have to see the character since director James Gunn promises he won’t be coming back from his fate in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, though he may still have some role to play in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.

As dire as Yondu‘s fate may have been, that didn’t stop Rooker from falling asleep during a crucial, dramatic scene.

Yondu was a breakout favorite for fans of Guardians of the Galaxy, especially after his evolution in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, and one particular line referencing another Disney favorite. However, director James Gunn revealed there was one thing about the Marvel Cinematic Universe version of Yondu that some fans took issue with, and it wasn’t what he expected.

“Yondu became a space pirate, and not a sort of Native American-inspired spiritual warrior that he is in the comics, but people very rarely get upset about any of that,” Gunn said. “It seemed like the one thing that people got upset about was Yondu’s small fin. They somehow thought it was important that Yondu had a big fin.”
