R.L. Stine, the master of children and young adult horror stories that still haunt us today, announced via his reddit AMA that he is currently writing a new series for Marvel Comics!

A reddit user asked, “Have you ever considered writing for comic books?“
And suprisingly R.L. Stine responded with, “I’m writing a series of comic books for Marvel– my first comics ever. But I’m not allowed to talk about them yet.“
Although he didn’t say he was writing a new series, we can assume that he won’t be taking over any current Marvel books and will be creating something brand new and spooky just for us.
R.L. Stine is a wildly popular novelist, short story writer, television producer, screenwriter, and executive editor. He is oftern referred to as the “Stephen King of children’s literature” and is the author of hundreds of horror fiction novels, including the books in the Fear Street, Goosebumps, Rotten School, Mostly Ghostly, and The Nightmare Room series.
Many of his novels have been adapted for television and the big screen including this past years Goosebumps movie starring Jack Black and 2014’s Mostly Ghostly: Have you Met My Ghoulfriend.
Fans of R.L. Stine have been waiting for the acclaimed storyteller to make the jump into comics or graphic novels. Although we don’t have any more details at this point, we’ll be sure to keep you updated on the new Marvel Comics series from R.L. Stine.
