James Gunn got an impromptu set visit from John Watts, who is at the helm of the upcoming Spider-Man: Homecoming.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is currently filming, and John Watts happened to be in the area. Gunn posted a photo of the two on his Facebook page, saying: "So Spider-Man: Homecoming's director John Watts visited our galaxy for a day. #GotGVol2 #spiderman"

He did confirm he was just in the area, so I imagine a cameo in either film isn't happening, but you never know. The best part about this whole thing though was when Nathan McKnight posed the question "James, how much do you have to coordinate with other Marvel directors to create a cohesive universe? Or is it more with the top brass at Marvel?"

Gunn responded: "The Galaxy is untrammeled snow, so at this point it's really me making up what I make up and then other movies may or may not have to deal with what we set down." That unapologetic creativity is why the first Guardians worked so well, and I'm glad nothing's changed for Vol.2.
