A new clip from Thor: Ragnarok reveals director Taika Waititi's character in the film, Korg.

The clip, which debuted on Jimmy Kimmel Live, shows Korg and Thor (Chris Hemsworth) having an intimate conversation about Thor's hammer, in which the loss of Mjolnir is compared to the loss of a loved one.

Check out the clip above.

Korg is one of the Kronan, also known as the Stone Men of Saturn, a race first seen in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in Thor: The Dark World. He is also a character from the "Planet Hulk" storyline, which informs much of the story of Thor: Ragnarok.

Korg was a fighter in the Red King's arena and fought alongside the Hulk and became part of Hulk's Warbound. He then joined Hulk when the Green Goliath began fighting to overthrow the Red King. The Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) is also in Thor: Ragnarok, first as Thor's opponent in the Contest of Champions and then once again as allies in Thor's mission to stop Hela.
