The Lost Boys Actor Brooke McCarter Has Died

The Lost Boys actor, Brooke McCarter, has passed away at age 52.
Multiple sources are reporting that McCarter succumbed to complications of a genetic liver condition on Tuesday, December 21.
Following The Lost Boys, McCarter played only a small handful of roles in films but became known for his appearances at Horror Conventions around the country. He recently returned to acting in 2009 after a 20 year break, starring in a film called The Emerging Past, which is currently in post-production.
"The McCarter family is heartbroken to share the news that Brooke McCarter passed away December 22, 2015 from the genetic liver condition alpha-1-antitrypsin deficiency (AAT)," McCarter's loved ones said in a statement to iHorror. "He was 52. Brooke was our loving son, brother, father, cousin, nephew and friend," their statement read. "Funeral arrangements are still being finalized. We appreciate your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time."
