If you're hoping to watch more movies in 2021, it would behoove you to make sure the payment on your Netflix subscription is up to date. Yes, theaters will hopefully be reopening this year and we will once again be flocking to the big screen, but Netflix is doing its part to keep the world entertained with brand new movies. On Tuesday, Netflix unveiled its full film slate for 2021, telling subscribers that there will be new original films to watch on the streaming service each and every week.
As it turns out, that is actually a bit of an understatement. As of now, Netflix has plans to release 72 original films over the course of 2021. The slate kicked off this past week with the debut of the Oscar hopeful drama Pieces of a Woman, and continues on Friday with the Anthony Mackie action film Outside the Wire.
No matter what kind of movies you're into, Netflix has something for you to enjoy in 2021. Below, you'll find the entire roster of films coming to Netflix this year, along with a synopsis for each one.
