According to The Tracking Board, Sony has landed the rights to distribute The Crow Reborn to theaters worldwide.

The Crow Reborn has been a topic of conversation for some time now, with Aquaman star Jason Momoa said to be attached as the titular character. The new report states that, while it’s unclear whether or not he’s still on board, there’s no reason to believe Momoa has left the project.

The same is said of director Corin Hardy, who was reportedly brought on to helm the film. He’s currently working on The Conjuring spin-off, The Nun.

This new version of The Crow is said to be a more faithful adaptation of the original James O’Barr graphic novel.

No release date for the film has been set.
