The Amazing Spider-Man 2

New details have emerged about The Amazing Spider-Man 2's Blu-ray release, via Entertainment Weekly. The Amazing Spider-Man 2 will be released on Blu-ray August 19. The release will be preceded by a Digital HD release on August 5.

As expected, the Blu-ray will include several special features, including 13 deleted scenes from the film. The only confirmed scene is one titled "Peter Meets His Father." Beyond that, fans can speculate as to whether or not the Blu-ray will include scenes with Shailene Woodley as Mary-Jane Parker, or the scene where the mysterious man with the gravelly voice – now known to be Gustav Fiers a.k.a. the Gentleman – reveals that Oscorp still has Norman Osborn's cryogenically frozen head in one of their secret labs.
