Angel and Avengers Actor Alexis Denisof Joins Grimm

Alexis Denisof, the Avengers actor best known for his role on Joss Whedon's Buffy the Vampire Slayer spinoff Angel, will join the NBC supernatural drama Grimm in a recurring role, Deadline reports. They say Denisof has booked an arc on the Comic Con favorite, in which he will play Viktor Albert Wilhelm George Beckendorf. The character, besides having a lot of syllables in his name, is described as "the cunning, smart, funny and ruthless first cousin to Eric Renard (James Frain)." It's not known whether Denisof will reprise his role as Thanos's henchman "The Other" in upcoming Marvel films like Guardians of the Galaxy and Avengers: Age of Ultron, both of which are expected to feature Thanos.
