Stephen Amell will campaign to be a guest on Ellen: The Ellen DeGeneres Show to promote his CW series Arrow, after fans on Facebook overwhelmingly voted in favor of the host over other potential talk shows. " What talk show would you like to see me do in 2014?" Amell asked his fans on Facebook yesterday. He instructed them to exclude shows that he's already done, and to limit their choices to just North America for the time being. He then offered up a number of selections, including Jimmy Kimmel Live, Late Night With Jimmy Fallon, Conan, Howard Stern, The View, The Late Show With David Letterman and The Late Late Show With Craig Ferguson, adding, "Like your choice. We'll campaign the winning show." DeGeneres's show was the winner by a wide margin, with 2,974 likes. The next-closest choices were Kimmel (1,046), Fallon (689) and Conan (515). Today, the actor came back online to say that there was a clear winner, and that he would send a message to DeGeneres's page on Monday to start lobbying the soon-to-be Oscar host for a slot on the guest rotation. DeGeneres has proven herself to be comics-friendly in the past; she's even had herself made into an Avengers action figure, making her arguably the most-loved Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. currently on TV.
