Comics rock star Grant Morrison and artist Chris Burnham, who worked with him on Batman Incorporated, will reunite for a new, creator-owned horror series titled Nameless for Image Comics.

"Nameless is the ultimate horror comic," Burnham said. "[Morrison] has never done a straight-up, balls-to-the-wall horror book. That's what I told him I wanted, and that's what we're doing. I think it's going to be awesome and terrible, and hopefully some 11-year-old kids will steal it, and it'll ruin their lives forever." Burnham hasn't had an ongoing book since the wrap-up of Batman Incorporated. Morrison has been pulling increasingly out of Big Two contract work but has worked on creator-owned projects like Happy! for Image and Legendary Comics's Annihilator. The pair are joined by Scott Snyder, Kyle Higgins and Jock as recent Batman creators who had new Image Comics titles announced today.
