Speaking with IGN, actor Josh Holloway (best known for his role as Sawyer on Lost) spoke about the rumors circulating that he was being considering to play Aquaman in the upcoming film Batman vs. Superman. Here's what he had to say:

"It hasn't been brought to my attention by my people, so maybe they're just floating it softly around, but that would be cool! Sure, I think I'm available at the moment as we just wrapped up. I'm an actor, I like different roles. Batman movies are awesome, Marvel movies are awesome. But we'll see, I'm on a series right now. I think they usually want to sign you up for several movies and I don't know if you can do that when you're committed to a series..."

The series that Holloway is referring to is Intelligence, where he plays a high-tech operative with a super-computer microchip in his brain that connects him directly to the Internet and other networked devices without the need of a computer or other console. So it sounds like the rumors are either false or that the conversations have not gotten serious enough to involve Holloway directly. It does sound like he'd be up for job if it came to him though, so long as his previous commitments didn't get in the way. Of course, it seems they've got some time to iron out all the details anyway. Batman vs. Superman is scheduled for theatrical release May 6, 2016.
