For Beastie Boy Ad-Rock, there will be no sleep till Alexandria.

Ad-Rock, one of the Beastie Boys' hip-hop legends, recently revealed that he wants a guest-spot on AMC's The Walking Dead. Rock, a.k.a. Adam Horovitz, admitted that he'd gladly trade the glitz and comfort of a New York City in exchange for the zombie-infested South portrayed on the Walking Dead—so long as he can stand shoulder to shoulder with Daryl Dixon.

"Every moment of that show.… I would love to be in The Walking Dead. I don't want to be a zombie," Horovitz told Entertainment Weekly. "I want to be like [Daryl's] friend from the city. Like a distant relative—'He's my uncle's friend from New York.' They're not going to have that, are they? I'd show up with like a PBS tote bag and something from Zabar's—be like, 'Hey, I got lox! Who wants bagels?'"

Though it seems a bit far-fetched (especially the bagels), The Walking Dead wouldn't be Horovitz's first acting gig. He currently has a small role in the Adam Sandler comedy While We're Young.
