Five Questions We Want Answered in Supergirl - Falling
With only five episodes left this season, Supergirl has plenty of ground left to cover to leave [...]
What "Type" of Red Kryptonite Are We Getting?
![redkryptonite redkryptonite](https://media.comicbook.com/2016/03/redkryptonite-173933.jpg)
Unlike green kryptonite, red kryptonite's effects vary wildly depending on the comic/television show. In Silver Age continuity, each piece of red kryptonite affected Superman differently, although the effects only lasted for 24-48 hours. Some pieces would strip Superman of his powers, while other pieces had more bizarre effects like transforming him into a dragon or causing his hair to grow wildly out of control. One variant of red kryptonite used by Ra's al Ghul (and created by Batman) nearly killed Superman, causing his skin to turn translucent and overloading his body with sunlight.
However, some television shows have shown red kryptonite to have emotional effects on its victims. In Superboy, red kryptonite turned Kryptonians evil, while Smallville's red kryptonite caused Clark to become much more impulsive (and acting on his...erotic impulses). It appears that Supergirl's red kryptonite will have an effect similar to the types shown on Superboy or Smallville, although it will be interesting if we see a reference to the more erratic effects seen in the comics.
What is Max Lord Up To?
![maxlord maxlord](https://media.comicbook.com/2016/03/maxlord-173932.jpg)
When we last saw Max Lord, Supergirl had released him from the DEO's custody, but not before Alex blackmailed him into keeping Supergirl's identity secret. Considering that Lord acts as a sort of "Lex Luthor" to Supergirl, I really doubt that he'd back down because of a few threats. So is Max Lord just biding his time until Supergirl's vulnerable? Or is he taking stock as to what the Fort Razz prisoners stole from his company? Maybe he had something to do with the red kryptonite, considering it's often manufactured artificially in the comics? Max Lord's imprisonment is going to come back to bite Supergirl. It's not a matter of "if", it's only a matter of "when".
What's the Deal with Winn and Siobhan?
![winn winn](https://media.comicbook.com/2016/03/winn-173931.jpg)
Winn finally got to kiss Cat's assistant last week, just not the one he wanted. Siobhan unexpectedly came on to Winn after he showed her some empathy last week, making out with him in the elevator and threatening him if he told anyone about their hook-up. So, does this mean that Winn and Siobhan are "a thing" now, or is this just Siobhan's latest ploy to strike back at Kara? And will this mean that Winn is finally moving on from Kara (which I think we can all agree should have happened a long time ago)? And speaking of Kara, how will she react to finding out that her best friend is kanoodling with her most hated workplace enemy? Could that possibly push her to admit that she might see Finn as something other as the geeky guy she turns to for tech support?
When Does Myriad Begin?
![non non](https://media.comicbook.com/2016/03/non-173930.jpg)
Although Non promised Supergirl he'd observe the traditional two week period of mourning before launching his attack on Earth, that didn't stop him from collecting the pieces of Indigo last week seemingly in preparation for the launch of his "Myriad" plan. So when will Non and the other Fort Rozz escapees launch "Myriad", and what exactly does the plan entail besides some cleverly cloaked boxes planted around National City? And what roles will Indigo and Max Lord's technology play in "Myriad"? That two week period of mourning is just about up, so expect some movement on the Myriad front in the near future.
Are Jimmy and Kara Finally Going to Kiss?
![jimmy jimmy](https://media.comicbook.com/2016/03/jimmy-173929.jpg)
Jimmy and Kara have exchanged so many longing glances and lingering hugs this season, there's probably an office pool at CatCo over when the two will finally get together. Jimmy finally got the "green light" to pursue Kara after Lucy broke up with him last episode and told him point blank that he was in love with Kara. Literally EVERYONE on the show know about Jimmy and Kara's feelings for each other, so when are they going to get over their hang ups and start kissing? Jimmy better make a move before the Flash shows up in two weeks and charms the proverbial socks off of Supergirl.
