In the finale, Jeff Winger (Joel McHale) and Annie Edison (Alison Brie) vent about what they want out of life. When Jeff verbalizes his desires he slips in a dig pertaining to Marvel Studios, saying they produce "boring ass" movies.
Annie rattles off her own desires and concludes by agreeing with Jeff's opinion on Marvel movies, adding that they are "flavorless" and "unremarkable."
This is the second time show creator Dan Harmon has taken a shot at Marvel in season 6 of Community. Earlier in the season, he knocked Marvel's behind-the-scenes treatment of Avengers: Age of Ultron director and screenwriter Joss Whedon.
Another interesting piece to this is that Alison Brie was at one time in the mix for the role of Sharon Carter/Agent 13 in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, which eventually went to Emily VanCamp (Revenge).
