New Supergirl Image Reveals Brighter Costume

Along with their official plot synopsis and air-time for Supergirl, CBS has released a new, brighter look at series’ titular heroine.

While the new image of Kara Zor-El skews rather closely to CBS’ original photo from earlier this year, this pass features a much brighter look at the Supergirl costume. In the new lighting, the reds appear much brighter, making the accent lines far more apparent. The lighter tone should come as a relief to some fans, who bemoaned the original image’s dark and muted look.

Supergirl premieres this November for an 8:00 p.m. Monday night time-slot on CBS.
