This Christmas, for the first time ever, Chris Pratt, the charming and hilarious star of Jurassic World and Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy, will share the screen with Jennifer Lawrence, the super-likeable Oscar-winning actress that has starred in the X-Men and The Hunger Games film franchises. They'll come together in Sony's Passengers, a science-fiction film that has the crowd-pleasing pair waking up on a spaceship, falling in love, and trying to save the lives of 5000 sleeping passengers.

Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt are two passengers onboard a spaceship transporting them to a new life on another planet. The trip takes a deadly turn when their hibernation pods mysteriously wake them 90 years before they reach their destination.

As Jim and Aurora try to unravel the mystery behind the malfunction, they begin to fall for each other, unable to deny their intense attraction... only to be threatened by the imminent collapse of the ship and the discovery of the truth behind why they woke up.

The cast also features Michael Sheen, Laurence Fishburne, and Aurora Perrineau. It's being directed by Morten Tyldum and was written By Jon Spaihts. The film is produced by Neal H. Moritz, Stephen Hamel, Michael Maher, and Ori Marmu. David Householter, Ben Browning, Jon Spaihts, Lynwood Spinks, Bruce Berman, Greg Basser, and Ben Waisbren serve as Executive Producers.

Passengers opens in theaters on December 21, 2016!
