The new character is Tanya, an Edenian like Kitana and Rain. Tanya and Rain have allied themselves with Mileena, aiding the ousted empress in her attempts to retake the Outworld throne. IN return, MIleena has promises to create a new, independent Edenia.
The new costumes are mostly throwbacks to previosu games for returning characters, but a few are sports themed or just a bit silly. You can see them all in the gallery below.
