Robert Pattinson Denies Indiana Jones Rumors

Robert Pattinson has denied rumors that he is being looked at to play Indiana Jones in a reboot of the film franchise. In fact, he claims to have known nothing about the project at all.

"No," Pattinson told MTV. "I didn't even know they were rebooting it!"

Pattinson has been falsely rumored to be part of other big movie projects in the past, including Daredevil before the rights reverted back to Marvel. He says that sometimes it seems some people just want to get him in trouble with fans.

"People just [make rumors up] so I get bad press afterwards," he joked. "'Hey, how about you play Jesus!' 'No, he should just die!' Great, thanks man."

Pattinson's latest film, The Rover, opens this weekend.
