Ahsoka Tano, who may be a favorite for this year's victory, meets BB-8, everyone's new favorite droid from Star Wars: The Force Awakens. With Ahsoka's return to the Star Wars universe on Rebels, her profile is higher than ever - especially since she has a battle with her former master, Darth Vader, coming very soon.
The other match-up today is Count Dooku versus Captain Phasma, and the chrome-casted trooper is getting pretty firmly beaten by the Sith Lord.
Of course, whoever wins the match-up of Ahsoka versus BB-8 has a difficult path ahead - their next battle will be against Yoda, who won the first tournament three years ago.
