The first trailer for Cell, an adaptation of a fairly recent Stephen King novel starring John Cusack and Samuel L. Jackson has hit online. The novel, from 2006, is perhaps more relevant today than ever, as it tells of a signal transmitted across cell phones that turn humans into a hive-mind zombie-style horde (yes, King did it before Kingsman).

The movie is coming out on video on demand about a month before it hits theaters – June 10 and July 8, respectively.
Directed by Tod Williams off a screenplay co-written by Stephen King himself, the film was originally going to be distributed by Clarius Entertainment, who dropped it last year, with Saban Entertainment and Lionsgate stepping in.
