As an avid defender of Man of Steel's learning as you go version of Superman, the recent story reveal by The Wall Street Journal is a bit deflating.

Supes can't seem to get out of his own way in regards to making a mess, and in Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice he seems to continue the trend. Evidently in an attempted rescue of Amy Adam's Lois Lane during a trip to Africa, Superman does even more damage to the surrounding area, to which he receives a great amount of criticism.

That, coupled with the immense amount of city destruction that occurred in Metropolis during the events of Man of Steel, are simply furthering Batman's resentment of Kal-El, and his need to stop Superman no matter what.

If he keeps going at this rate, I can't even really blame him. At this point, you almost want to tell Clark to just stop hitting stuff.

Seriously, stop hitting stuff. You're breaking literally everything.
