20th Century Fox has released a new clip from X-Men: Days of Future Past featuring Quicksilver. In X-Men: Days of Future Past, Quicksilver is played by Evan Peters. In the comics, his name is Pietro Maximoff – though this clip lists his name as Peter Maximoff – and is the son of Magneto. However, producer Simon Kinberg has said that Quicksilver and Magneto's relationship is only alluded to at best in Days of Future Past. In X-Men: Days of Future Past, the X-Men send Wolverine to the past in a desperate effort to change history and prevent an event that results in doom for both humans and mutants. X-Men: Days of Future Past opens in theaters May 23.
