Brock “the Beast Incarnate” Lesnar will adorn the cover of WWE 2K17, 2K games announced Monday morning. As the cover Superstar, it’s another win for Lesnar, who has held championships in NCAA, UFC, and WWE for his fighting prowess. In fact, the once-retired MMA fighter who has given his efforts solely to the WWE for the last few years will head back to the Octagon in 2016 at UFC 200. Fans routinely chant for him to take his opponents to “Suplex City,” thanks to his propensity for repeated suplexes, a dangerous and painful looking over-the-back throw, while in the ring. You can bet the chant – and the move – will be on full display in the game when it hits October 11, 2016 on PS4, PS3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360.

“My career has been defined by dominating every opportunity presented to me,” said Brock Lesnar in a press release. “I am excited for my newest opportunity representing WWE 2K17 as the franchise’s ambassador and honored to serve as the WWE 2K17cover Superstar.”

Lesnar’s announcement video, appropriately, is narrated by Paul Heyman, his in-ring advocate at WWE.

“Ladies and gentlemen, my client has truly conquered everything in his path, and unleashing Suplex City through WWE 2K17 will be no different,” said Heyman in the press release. “As the advocate for Brock Lesnar, I can assure you his embodiment of unadulterated excellence, combined with a Beast’s desire to CONQUER all platforms in the gaming world, will make for a video game and supporting campaign that fans will embrace and absolutely cannot ignore this year.”

The release promises an “incredible roster” that so far includes Goldberg as a pre-order character, WWE mainstay John Cena, wrestling legend Ultimate Warrior, and up-and-coming women’s division star Sasha Banks. 2K, Yuke’s and Visual Concepts also promise new, yet-to-be-announced features for 2K17.
