The cast and crew of Game of Thrones know very little about what will happen when the show returns for its penultimate episode next year but one thing seems to be for sure: Bran Stark will deliver an important message to Jon Snow.

Late in the show's sixth season, Bran Stark had a vision as the Three Eyed Raven. In it, he found the truth about Jon Snow's parentage. Rather than a Stark, Jon is actually a Targaryan with a rightful claim to the Throne.

"I think Bran knows he's been shown this information for a reason," Bran Stark exact Isaac Hempstead Wright said during the Game of Thrones panel at San Diego Comic Con on Friday. "I presume somehow he'll tell Jon but I don't know how Jon will take it when Bran shows up and says, 'By the way, I'm a tree wizard and your dad is your dad.'"

With Winter finally having arrived, Jon Snow is the King Westeros needs. He is the only character on the series who has shown the ability to unite different Houses in battle who otherwise would not have come together (with a touch of help from Sansa Stark, of course). The Kingdoms will certainly have to unite if they are going to have a chance against the White Walkers.

With only seven episodes coming in the seventh season and a similar, less-than-normal amount following in the eighth and final season in 2018, Bran Stark had best get a move on.

Game of Thrones will return for its seventh season in October.
