On Thursday evening in front of the Foot Locker in Times Square at New York City, hip-hop artist Desiigner was arrested by the police. The incident took place around 9 p.m. ET after a road rage altercation led to felony drug and weapon charges.

Law enforcement officials informed TMZ that the people in the SUV and the driver of another car got into a shouting match at each other for some unspecified reason. Allegedly, the "Panda" rapper flicked a lit cigarette at the other driver before pointing a gun in their direction. The driver then proceeded to call 911 as the SUV drove away. The driver was able to write down the license plate number before they were out of sight.

Not long after the 911 call, the cops located the SUV. Upon searching the vehicle, the police discovered a vast quantity of loose pills in the center console. The drugs were Oxycontin, according to law enforcement sources.
