"Do you know what day it is?" That is the infamous line from Mean Girls that has made October 3rd officially Mean Girls Day. Jonathan Bennett, who played the movie's heartthrob who delivered the line, has been inundated with texts asking him the date since the clock struck midnight.

"I woke up and there were like, 3,000 text messages from people," Bennett said to TMZ who caught up with him and asked him if he knew the date. "The girl who checks me in at the gym was like, 'Hi, do you know what day it is?'"

The classic hit movie came out in April 2004 and starred Lindsay Lohan and Rachel McAdams, alongside Bennett. It is a movie that almost everyone can quote and has a ridiculously devoted following. In 2014, the ten year anniversary of the movie just happened to fall on a Wednesday, which is an important day to Mean Girls fans, and resulted in a plethora of fans wearing pink to celebrate the day.

"I think it's so fun for the fans, because it's like, two lines in the movie," Bennett continued. "But yet, today is National Mean Girls day."

Even Lohan was able to celebrate the day, despite her recent finger injury. She posted a screen shot of a conversation where she was asked the infamous question. Looks like Bennet isn't the only one who can't avoid it.
