On Monday night, pictures surfaced showing WWE superstar the Undertaker hanging out at the Quicken Loans arena prior to the Cleveland Cavaliers game for the NBA season opener against the New York Knicks. The 51-year-old wrestler went on to crash the Cavaliers locker room to take some pics with the team and hang with the players.

The Undertaker seems to be the team’s favorite wrestler by far. On several occasions, superstars such as LeBron James, Kevin Love, and Kyrie Irving have all been seen repping the Dead Man’s merchandise.

The WWE tweeted a picture of the Undertaker with star forward Kevin Love. They shared the photo on Twitter with the caption: “The #Undertaker surprised @KevinLove & the @NBA Champion @Cavs at their Opening Night Championship Celebration.”

Three-point shooting specialist James Jones was filmed giving the Prince of Darkness a hug.

Another Cavaliers player that was filmed shaking hands with the Dead Man is fan-favorite Chris “Birdman” Anderson.

One of the first pictures that surfaced from the occasion came from Twitter user Dave Chudowsky. He shared the pic with the caption: “The freaking Undertaker is here at the Q! Remember LeBron holding the trophy with his shirt! @wkyc #defendtheland #undertaker.”

Cleveland Cavaliers beat writer Jason Lloyd explained why the legendary WWE star was in attendance. “Undertaker told me he’s here because LeBron wore his t-shirt prior to Game 5 of the Finals,” Lloyd wrote. “No previous relationship, just a mutual respect.”

Fans may recall that LeBron has been seen on several occasions wearing the Undertaker’s t-shirts and merchandise. Prior the practice before the NBA Finals, James was pictured repping his favorite wrestler.

All-star point guard Kyrie Irving even has his own artwork inspired by the Undertaker. Earlier this month, Irving wore a shirt of himself wearing the Undertaker’s hat and calls it “The Ankletaker.” The shirt is actually quite awesome.

What are your thoughts about the Undertaker hanging out in the Cleveland Cavaliers locker room?
